Job summary

Malaysia Steel Works (KL) Bhd is seeking a skilled crane operator to safely operate overhead cranes within the Klang Bukit Raja plant. The role involves lifting, moving, and handling materials, coordinating with ground personnel, and ensuring safe crane operations.

The candidate must have experience with overhead cranes, be willing to work shifts including weekends/public holidays, and have their own transport to the Bukit Raja site in Klang. OSHA safety protocols must be followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling overhead cranes.
• Ability to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Own transport to work in Bukit Raja, Klang.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating the Overhead Crane to lift, move, and handle materials within the plant area.
• Safely lifting, moving, and positioning materials using a crane
• Communicating with ground personnel or supervisor to coordinate movements and ensure smooth operations
• Inspecting cranes and equipment before each use and reporting any malfunctions
• Loading and unloading of materials, as well as ensuring proper storage after transport
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols, including OSHA regulations

Job Requirements:

Have more than 3 years of experience in handling overhead cranes

Willing to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays

Possess your own transport to work in Bukit Raja, Klang
