Job summary

Astino Berhad in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee daily delivery and loading activities. You will coordinate a team to ensure timely completion, maintain safety, and comply with SOPs and work procedures on shift.

The role requires the ability to lead, motivate a team, and operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Willingness to work weekends/public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery, logistics, warehouse, loading/unloading or operations supervision is an advantage.
• Ability to lead, supervise and motivate a team of workers.
• Knowledge of safe lifting, loading, unloading and material-handling practices.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit for a hands-on operational environment.

Monitor workers' performance, attendance, discipline, and productivity.

Coordinate loading, unloading, and delivery activities to ensure timely completion.

Ensure proper handling of materials and goods during loading and delivery.

Identify and report operational, safety, or manpower issues to management.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in delivery, logistics, warehouse, loading/unloading, or operations supervision is an advantage.

Able to lead, supervise, and motivate a team of workers.

Able to operate and handle overhead crane, forklift, and other material-handling equipment safely.

Possess relevant forklift/crane licenses or certifications where required.

Knowledge of safe lifting, loading, unloading, and material-handling practices.

Good understanding of SOP, workplace safety, and operational procedures.

Responsible, disciplined, hardworking, and able to work independently.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment.
