Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics (JD Logistics) is seeking an Outbound Teamleader in Selangor, Malaysia to manage daily warehouse activities and lead a performance-driven team in a fast-paced, technology-driven logistics environment.

You will ensure SOP compliance, safety, and quality while optimizing outbound processes and inventory control, collaborating across teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, SCM, Quality Management, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management or quality control.
• Knowledge of warehouse management processes, quality management systems, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, outbound processing, and inventory management.
• Supervise staff performance, ensuring SOPs, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Monitor KPIs: timeliness, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, productivity; conduct daily counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with customer service, transportation, planning, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Lead 5S, safety, equipment usage; identify issues and drive cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
• Train new employees and support the Warehouse Manager with additional duties.

About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, outbound processing, and inventory management. Allocate manpower, equipment, and work assignments based on order volume to ensure smooth warehouse operations.


• Supervise employee performance and ensure all operations comply with SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements.


• Monitor warehouse KPIs, including inbound and outbound processing timeliness, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, and productivity. Conduct daily inventory counts, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, and operational abnormalities.


• Coordinate with customer service, transportation, planning, and other warehouse teams to promptly resolve operational issues.


• Responsible for onsite 5S management, workplace safety, and equipment usage management. Identify operational issues, propose improvement solutions, and continuously drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements.


• Train new employees and guide team members to improve overall team efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or related fields.

2. Work Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management, quality control, or related fields. Candidates with a background in the logistics industry are preferred.

3. Competency Requirements

• Professional Competencies: Familiar with warehouse management processes and possess knowledge of quality management systems. Able to use data analysis tools for quality control management. Understand international logistics industry standards and regulations.
