Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Lead to head outbound transportation and distribution strategies across market channels. You will optimize fleet operations, set performance targets, and ensure seamless delivery to customers.

The role requires a minimum of five years in FMCG outbound logistics, strong expertise in route planning and fleet management, and proficiency with Excel, Tier-1 ERP systems, and BI reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the FMCG sector, with dedicated expertise in outbound transportation management.
• Strong working knowledge of distribution processes, route planning, and fleet management.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tier-1 ERP systems, and business intelligence reporting tools.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities with strong operational problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategize outbound distribution and fleet operations to maximize delivery performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with warehouse, supply chain, and sales teams for end-to-end fulfillment.
• Manage service provider relationships, negotiate transport contracts, and monitor vendor compliance.
• Establish route optimization models and leverage operational data to control logistics costs.
• Oversee team performance, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and customer service commitments.
