Job summary

Ansell is seeking an OT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust IT and OT infrastructure across global environments. You will work with Aveva SCADA and Microsoft technologies to ensure secure, highly available systems, collaborating with global teams on Industry 4.0 initiatives.

The role requires IT/OT convergence expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with SolarWinds, SCCM, and VMware/Hyper-V.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Microsoft Certified Professional and/or VMware Certified Professional desired.
• Experience in IT infrastructure engineering (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
• Experience in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and hybrid cloud environments (Azure).
• Experience with OT systems, preferably Aveva SCADA or similar industrial platforms.
• Strong background in AD, DNS, TCP/IP networking, and security hardening.
• Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and collaboration tools.
• Hands-on with monitoring/configuration tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, SCCM).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and SLA-driven service delivery.
• Understanding IT/OT convergence, cybersecurity, and industrial networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex IT/OT infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills using Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid IT/OT infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies (Hyper-V, Azure) and Aveva SCADA.
• Integrate OT systems into IT architecture while ensuring cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage virtualization platforms and cloud services for scalability and disaster recovery.
• Support high-availability clusters and implement robust backup and recovery strategies for IT and OT systems.
• Perform routine administration, patching, and performance tuning for servers, networks, and SCADA environments.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation for IT and OT systems, including architecture diagrams and procedures.
• Proactively monitor infrastructure health using monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and resolve incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 projects.

In this position you will plays a vital role in design, implement, and maintain robust IT and OT infrastructure solutions across global environments. This role combines traditional IT systems engineering with operational technology (OT) expertise, ensuring seamless integration between enterprise IT platforms and industrial control systems such as Aveva SCADA. The position holder will work closely with global teams to deliver secure, highly available, and compliant infrastructure services, supporting both corporate and plant-level operations.
