Job summary

Beyonics Precision (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT & OT Infrastructure Lead to strengthen IT governance, manage infrastructure projects, and oversee service providers across corporate and manufacturing IT/OT environments.

You will drive ISO 27001 compliance, guide technology investments aligned with manufacturing priorities, and provide remote technical support for core server, network, and storage platforms, with occasional site travel to support regional operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8+ years in IT infrastructure, information security, or tech operations.
• Experience in manufacturing with multi-site/regional IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive IT governance: develop policies, standards, and procedures.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive IT & OT Infrastructure Lead to strengthen IT governance, manage infrastructure projects, and oversee service providers across our corporate and manufacturing (OT) environments. In this role, you will drive ISO 27001 compliance, deliver technology investments aligned with manufacturing priorities, and provide remote technical support for our core server, network, and storage platforms.

Job Responsibilities

IT Governance & Risk Management

• Drive Governance: Lead and continuously improve IT governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Own ISO 27001: Coordinate internal, surveillance, and certification audits, including planning, evidence collection, ISMS documentation, and closing findings.
• Manage Risk: Monitor infrastructure risks, control effectiveness, and compliance gaps across regional IT and factory (OT) environments.
• Track Performance: Oversee risk reviews, control monitoring, exception management, and reporting to leadership.
• Deliver Projects: Plan and manage infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, resilience, technology refresh, and service improvement projects.
• Lead Teams & Vendors: Coordinate site teams, technical resources, vendors, and stakeholders from project kickoff to operational handover.
• Govern Architecture: Set standards for IT/OT infrastructure lifecycles, systems integration, availability, backup, disaster recovery, and capacity.
• Manage Change: Oversee project escalations, technical documentation, operational handovers, and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive ITIL-aligned service improvements using SLA performance, availability, incident and problem trends, root-cause analysis, capacity constraints, and stakeholder feedback.
• Facilitate service reviews, track improvement actions, and maintain effective operational procedures, support models, escalation paths, and service documentation.

Infrastructure Operations & Support

• Provide Remote Support: Maintain and support corporate-site infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, networks, and storage systems.
• Resolve Incidents: Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents, manage backup services, and monitor system performance.
• Escalate to Vendors: Act as the technical escalation point for critical system issues and manage vendor support life cycles.
• Review vendor proposals, statements of work, solution designs, assumptions, deliverables, pricing, support models, and implementation plans.
• Establish vendor governance routines and performance scorecards; monitor KPIs, service quality, contractual commitments, security obligations, risks, and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for service optimization, license rationalization, vendor consolidation, contract improvement, cost avoidance, and measurable savings.
• Act as the escalation point for significant vendor service issues, delivery risks, commercial disputes, and underperformance.

Academic Qualification.

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, information security, or tech operations.
• Industry Context: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and managing regional or multi-site operations.
• Location & Mobility: Based primarily at the main manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with regular travel to Singapore and other Malaysian sites.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, documentation, executive presentation skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Based at the main manufacturing site in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with regular travel required between Malaysia sites and Singapore for projects, audits, vendor engagements, service reviews, infrastructure assessments, and operational support. ISO 27001, ITIL, PMP, Agile, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC certifications are advantageous.
