Job summary

Ansell Global Trading Center (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an OT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust IT/OT infrastructure across global environments. You will work with Aveva SCADA and Microsoft technologies to ensure secure, highly available, and compliant services for corporate and plant operations.

The role requires strong IT/OT convergence knowledge, Cybersecurity focus, and experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified Professional and VMware Certified Professional preferred.
• Experience in IT infrastructure engineering (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
• Experience in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and hybrid cloud (Azure).
• Experience with OT systems, Aveva SCADA or similar.
• Strong background in AD, DNS, TCP/IP networking, security hardening.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid IT/OT infrastructure leveraging Microsoft technologies and Aveva SCADA.
• Integrate OT into IT architecture with cybersecurity, reliability and compliance.
• Manage virtualization platforms and cloud services for scalability and DR.
• Support high-availability clusters and backup/recovery strategies.
• Perform routine admin, patching, and performance tuning for IT/OT systems.
• Document architecture diagrams and procedures.

Ansell is looking for an OT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our team in Cyberjaya/India.

In this position you will plays a vital role in design, implement, and maintain robust IT and OT infrastructure solutions across global environments. This role combines traditional IT systems engineering with operational technology (OT) expertise, ensuring seamless integration between enterprise IT platforms and industrial control systems such as Aveva SCADA. The position holder will work closely with global teams to deliver secure, highly available, and compliant infrastructure services, supporting both corporate and plant-level operations.

What your role will be?

• Design and implement hybrid IT/OT infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies (Hyper-V, Azure), and industrial control systems (such as Aveva SCADA).
• Integrate OT systems into IT architecture while ensuring cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage virtualization platforms and cloud services for scalability and disaster recovery.
• Support high-availability clusters and implement robust backup and recovery strategies for critical IT and OT systems.
• Perform routine administration, patching, and performance tuning for servers, networks, and SCADA environments.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation for IT and OT systems, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
• Proactively monitor infrastructure health using advanced monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and resolve incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives and Industry 4.0 projects.

What will you bring to Ansell?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, related field or relevant work experience.
• Microsoft Certified Professional or/and VMware Certified Professional desired
• Experience in IT infrastructure engineering (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
• Experience in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and hybrid cloud environments (Azure).
• Experience with OT systems, preferably Aveva SCADA or similar industrial automation platforms.
• Strong background in Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP networking, and security hardening.
• Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and configuration management tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, SCCM).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and SLA-driven service delivery.
• Solid understanding of IT/OT convergence, cybersecurity principles, and industrial networking
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across IT and OT domains.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills using Visio and modern collaboration tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
