Job summary

Randstad Malaysia client is seeking a Senior OT Endpoint Security Engineer to safeguard OT infrastructure across global manufacturing sites. You'll deploy, configure, and operate TXOne Stellar, Portable Inspectors, and Malware Check Stations, and maintain hardened security baselines for legacy endpoints.

You will integrate OT telemetry into central monitoring and ITSM, ensure secure production environments, and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years IT operations experience focusing on OT/Manufacturing endpoint security.
• Hands-on with TXOne Stellar, Portable Inspectors, and Malware Check Stations.
• Understanding of OT environments, legacy OS, network segmentation, production constraints.
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell or Python).
• Familiar with Microsoft Defender ecosystem (MDE, XDR) and ITSM processes.
• Experience in 24/7 global manufacturing or regulated OT environment; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operate TXOne Stellar, Portable Inspectors, and MCS across sites.
• Maintain hardened OT endpoint baselines including legacy OS.
• Integrate OT endpoint telemetry into central monitoring and ITSM systems.

As a Senior OT Endpoint Security Engineer, you will provide critical engineering and operational support to maintain the stability, performance, and security of the organization's OT infrastructure. Your core responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and operating TXOne Stellar, Portable Inspectors, and Malware Check Stations (MCS) across global manufacturing sites. You will maintain hardened security baselines for OT endpoints—including legacy operating systems and resource-constrained devices—and integrate OT endpoint telemetry into central monitoring and ITSM systems

About the requirement

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (certifications like MCSE or MCSA are preferred).
• 10+ years of IT operations experience with a strong focus on managing Endpoint Security within OT/Manufacturing environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with TXOne Stellar, Portable Inspectors, and Malware Check Stations.
• A solid understanding of OT environments, including legacy operating systems, network segmentation, production constraints, and safety considerations.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Defender ecosystem (MDE, XDR) and ITSM processes.
• Experience working in a 24/7 global manufacturing or regulated OT environment with excellent English communication skills.
