Job summary

HBS Engineering Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Health and Safety Officer to monitor OSH compliance at our Putrajaya site and conduct regular safety inspections.

You will prepare and implement Safety & Health Plans and related procedures, and perform risk assessments to identify and control hazards. Responsibilities include toolbox talks, inductions, incident investigations, and liaison with authorities. You will ensure proper PPE use and oversee permit-to-work activities, maintaining records and driving

Qualifications

• Experience delivering OSH compliance and site safety management.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Familiar with PPE usage, PTW processes and safety reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure OSH compliance at the workplace.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Prepare and implement Safety & Health Plans and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments (e.g., HIRARC) and recommend controls.
• Monitor workers' compliance with SHE requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings and inductions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses; prepare reports.
• Recommend corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and monitor PTW activities.
• Maintain safety records and liaise with authorities on safety matters.
