Job summary

PEGAUNIHAN TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to ensure OSHA compliance, perform risk assessments, and lead safety training. The role requires DOSH certification and strong communication across English and Malay.

Experience with HIRARC, incident investigations, and record-keeping is essential. The position is based in Johor with meal subsidy and other interview-informed benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Occupational Safety and Health or Science with required grades in Bahasa, English, Maths and elective science.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage for Taiwan collaboration.
• Valid DOSH Competent Person credentials for Safety & Health Officer and Scheduled Waste Manager.
• Attended and passed the DOSH SHO course and SHO examination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with OSHA 1994, regulations and standards.
• Perform HIRARC risk assessments and control measures.
• Regularly inspect premises, machinery and equipment for nonconformities.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training, inductions and briefings to staff and management.
• Maintain safety records, reports and accident statistics; act as SHC secretary.
