Job summary

Land & General Berhad is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with OSHA 1994 and CDM 2024 across our projects in Malaysia. You will review safety plans, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with consultants and contractors.

The role requires a Diploma in OSH, 3–5 years in SHE, and strong knowledge of Malaysian safety laws. You will lead inductions, audits, and monthly safety reports to management.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive SHE management experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with OSHA 1994, DOSH regs, and CDM 2024 at sites.
• Review Safety & Health Plans, JSA, HIRARC, and risk assessments before work starts.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits and address non‑compliances.
• Oversee high‑risk activities (earthworks, lifting, working at height, scaffolding).
• Coordinate safety reporting, investigations, and corrective actions with teams.
• Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, training, and emergency drills.
