Job summary

ASK Resources Sdn Bhd is assisting a global MNC in finding an Order Management Officer. The role is hybrid and based at 1Powerhouse, Bandar Utama, Malaysia, initially a 12-month contract with renewal potential.

Fresh graduates with internship exposure are encouraged to apply. You will handle end-to-end order management, billing, logistics coordination, and SCM support in a global OTC team.

Qualifications

• Degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Order Management / Order-to-Cash; internships ok.
• Chemicals industry experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end order management across the order-to-cash cycle.
• Create sales orders and process POs; perform payment follow-ups.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and shipments; arrange transport.
• Handle billing, invoices, and document collection; month-end reconciliation.
• Oversee import/export and overseas shipment monitoring; escalate issues.

About the Role:

Join a leading global multinational company and be part of the OTC team. This role offers exposure to international business operations and hands-on experience in end-to-end order management.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Order Management

Manage the full order-to-cash cycle by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including customers, sales, global business teams, suppliers, finance, and controlling.

Responsibilities include:

Sales order creation and PO processing

Payment follow-ups and order release

Delivery schedule coordination and shipment creation

Transportation arrangement and monitoring

Billing, invoice management, and document collection

Month-end reconciliation

Import/export coordination and overseas shipment monitoring

Escalation of issues to ensure timely order fulfillment

Customer & Supply Chain Support

Provide excellent customer service to foster long-term relationships

Capture and share market intelligence related to supply chain topics

Optimize logistics costs through effective transportation management

Drive continuous improvement in end-to-end processes using digital tools

Handle customer complaints (NCM) in accordance with procedures and escalates when necessary

Operational Compliance

Ensure all operations comply with internal standards and local regulations

Report operational concerns to the Supply Chain Manager promptly

Requirements

Degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

1–3 years of experience in Order Management / Order-to-Cash operations
(Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply!)

Experience in the chemical industry is an added advantage

Good command of English (written & spoken)

Hands-on experience with SAP is preferred
