Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or technical related discipline with <2 years in production or maintenance.
• Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with ≥3 years in production or maintenance.
• With ≥5 years of technical field experience for those without formal technical education.
• Self-started and committed to maintaining machines in top condition at all times.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Able to read and write English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality processing methodologies in assigned section.

• Assist in meeting daily production output in line with schedules.
• Set up, perform batch conversions, cleaning and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Operate production equipment under SOPs and controlled conditions.
• Assist in maintenance of tooling and change parts used in production.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. To maintain a high quality of processing methodology in assigned section.
• 2. To maintain cGMP and quality standards for the manufacturing equipment and process areas within the respective or related area of charge.
• 3. To assist in efforts to meet the daily production output and quality in line with production scheduling and agreed supply plan.
• 4. To actively involve in set-up, batches conversion, cleaning and problem rectification on machinery and supporting system in the production floors.
• 5. To operate various production equipment under controlled conditions as per standard operating procedures.
• 6. To assist on maintenance of tooling (eg. Punches & dies) and change parts used in production.
• 7. To highlight to superior if process equipment malfunctioned/breaks down during operation, and to assist in troubleshooting activity if required.
• 8. To update and housekeep all the records and documents related to manufacturing machineries and processes.
• 9. Stop production and inform superior immediately if detect any abnormity and deviation that can cause impact to the identity, quality, purity and efficacy of product.
• 10. To participate in the investigation for all major and / or minor failures of manufacturing machineries and equipment or nonconformity of semi products or finished goods due to manufacturing machineries / equipment failure and carry out agreed actions to prevent their recurrence.
• 11. To implement and practice good housekeeping and 5S in respective working section.
• 12. To work closely with Production Unit Manager / Executive / Pharmacist and participating in departmental improvement projects.
• 13. To actively participate in departmental preventive maintenance program.
• 14. To actively participate in trouble shooting and rectification of machines break down within the respective area or area as assigned by the superior.
• 15. To strictly adhere to all safety procedures. To report and highlight to superior if there is any deficiency detected in procedures or improvement needed.
• 16. To perform any other jobs as assigned to you by your superior from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

• 1. Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or technical related discipline with less than 2 years of working experience in production or maintenance field.
• Or
• 2. Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or technical related discipline with minimum 3 years working experience in production or maintenance field.
• Or
• 3. With minimum 5 years of working experience in technical field for those without technical, professional or tertiary educational background.
• 4. Self-started and committed to maintain the machines in top conditions at all times
• 5. Ability to troubleshoot and good problem solving skills on technical problems.
• 6. Able to read and write English and Malay Language.
