Job summary

MR.DIY Group (M) Berhad is seeking a data and reporting assistant to consolidate data across warehouse, transport, and automation teams. The role focuses on improving visibility of operational metrics and supporting dashboard development using Excel and BI tools.

You will prepare meeting materials, track actions, and coordinate across departments while identifying data discrepancies and driving process improvements. Strong Excel and English/Mandarin communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Comfortable with numbers, data sets, and performance metrics.
• Able to follow up firmly and professionally with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English & Mandarin communication.
• 3–5 years of working experience in any field.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate data from warehouse, transport, and automation teams.
• Manage report templates and ensure submission consistency.
• Assist dashboard development using Excel/ BI tools.
• Identify discrepancies and anomalies in data.
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and pre-reads.
• Take Minutes of Meeting (MOM) and distribute on time.
• Track action items and follow up with PICs.
• Coordinate across warehouse, transport, and cross-functional departments.
• Support initiatives to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Assist in dashboard consolidation projects.
• Suggest workflow improvements.
