Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan MBG Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, logistics, and inventory control.

You will ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met while coordinating with the Singapore HQ on production planning and resource allocation. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, logistics, inventory control, safety, and performance.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee Production, Safety, Maintenance, Logistics, Warehouse, and Plant Administration functions.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and plant resources.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage plant budgets and operational expenditure.
• Coordinate with Singapore HQ on production planning, project requirements and resource allocation.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Manage customer audits, authority inspections, and certification requirements.
• Lead and develop department heads, supervisors, and operational teams.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the precast concrete or construction manufacturing industry.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience overseeing multiple operational functions.
• Strong knowledge of precast manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, inventory management, and plant operations.
• Experience managing large workforces in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work closely with Singapore HQ and manage cross-border operations.
• Proficient in ERP systems, operational reporting, and KPI management.
