Job summary

Excel Precast Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end plant operations in Malaysia. The role covers production, maintenance, logistics, inventory control, safety and performance to ensure business objectives are met.

Responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, logistics, inventory control, safety, and operational performance to ensure efficient execution of business objectives.

Key responsibilities

Lead overall plant operations to achieve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.

Oversee Production, Safety, Maintenance, Logistics, Warehouse, and Plant Administration functions.

Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and plant resources.

Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Manage plant budgets and operational expenditure.

Coordinate with Singapore HQ on production planning, project requirements, and resource allocation.

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety requirements.

About you

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience in the precast concrete or construction manufacturing industry.

At least 5 years of managerial experience overseeing multiple operational functions.

Strong knowledge of precast manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, inventory management, and plant operations.

Experience managing large workforces in a manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work closely with Singapore HQ and manage cross-border operations.

Proficient in ERP systems, operational reporting, and KPI management.

Currently, we are expanding our business and another new plant (About 8-ha) is now under construction located at Ulu Choh, the monthly production capacity for this plant is 10,000 m3.
