We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager / Director to take ownership of a critical operational function within a growing international financial services group.
This is more than a day-to-day operations role. You will have the opportunity to shape how operations are structured, improve how teams work, strengthen processes and controls, and build scalable operational capabilities to support international growth.
You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams across Payments, Client Experience, Technology, Finance, Risk and Compliance, giving you broad visibility and influence across the business.

Establish operational standards, KPIs, processes and performance expectations.
Identify operational gaps and turn them into actionable improvement initiatives.
Partner with senior management to translate business priorities into practical operational plans.
Build scalable processes that can support continued business growth across multiple markets.
Oversee payment operations, including deposits, withdrawals, payment processing and transaction workflows.
Manage relationships with PSPs, banks, payment gateways and other financial service providers.
Evaluate and support the onboarding of new payment channels and providers.
Monitor payment performance, operational issues, service levels and risks.
Drive improvements in payment efficiency, reliability and customer experience.
Oversee client onboarding, account-related processes and operational service delivery.
Ensure operational workflows are efficient, consistent and aligned with applicable KYC, AML and regulatory requirements.
Identify bottlenecks and redesign processes to improve turnaround time and service quality.
Work closely with Client Experience, Compliance, Risk and other teams to resolve operational challenges.
Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification and optimisation.
Partner with Technology, Product and Data teams to improve systems, workflows and reporting.
Support the implementation and optimisation of CRM, back-office, payment and digital platforms.
Establish clear SOPs, documentation and operational controls.
Use data and reporting to identify trends, measure performance and support better decision-making.
Strengthen operational controls across key business processes.
Partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance and senior management on operational governance.
Ensure processes are appropriately documented, controlled and monitored.
Support internal reviews, audits and regulatory-related requirements where applicable.
Identify potential operational risks early and drive appropriate mitigation measures.
Lead, develop and mentor operational teams.
Build a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
Work closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Payments, Client Experience, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Commercial teams.
Provide management with clear visibility on operational performance, risks, issues and improvement opportunities.
5+ years of experience in Operations, FinTech, Financial Services, Payments, Digital Platforms, Capital Markets or a related industry.
Proven experience leading operational teams and managing complex workflows.
Strong understanding of client onboarding, payment operations and service delivery.
Experience working with PSPs, banks, payment gateways or other financial service providers.
Strong track record in process improvement, operational transformation or automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Comfortable operating in an international and fast-paced environment.
Commercially minded, with an understanding of how operational decisions affect customer experience and business performance.
Experience in regulated financial services or FinTech.
Regional or international operations experience.
Experience with CRM, back-office systems, payment gateways or digital platforms.
Knowledge of KYC, AML, transaction monitoring and operational risk controls.
Experience managing multiple PSPs or payment channels.
Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Operations Director, COO or equivalent.
