Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam, responsible for overseeing daily operational activities and ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across the organization. This role includes managing production or service processes, coordinating schedules and resources, and monitoring performance metrics to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, implement and refine standard operating procedures, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include optimizing processes, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, maintaining compliance with company policies, and leading or coaching team members to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day operations, including resource planning, process oversight, and performance monitoring.


• Experience in process improvement, workflow optimization, and implementing practical solutions to operational challenges.


• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.


• Proficient in using productivity and reporting tools (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling software, or ERP systems) to track and improve operations.


• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate work across different teams and levels.


• Leadership experience in guiding, mentoring, or supervising team members in an operational environment.


• Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced workplace.


• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Experience in a design, manufacturing, or service-oriented company in Malaysia is an advantage.
