Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Operations leader to drive all production activities and lead a manufacturing team toward quality, safety, cost and delivery goals.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia communication skills. Candidates should have a hands-on, results‑oriented approach in an automated environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes.
• Preferably with experience at managerial level in Manufacturing/Production Operations.
• Exposure to automated manufacturing environments for mixing and moulding of materials.
• Must communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Manufacturing Operations.
• Lead the manufacturing team to meet quality, cost, delivery and output targets.
• Review and implement improvement programs to optimize efficiency and product quality.
• Oversee production planning, purchasing and logistics; prepare monthly reports.
• Drive ISO 9001:2015 compliance and 5S housekeeping.

1. Responsible for all aspects and functional department of Manufacturing Operations.

2. Lead and direct the manufacturing team to achieve operational goals in quality, customer service, cost, delivery and output.

3. Review, coordinate and implement improvement programs including operating procedures to optimize operational efficiency, improve product quality, product safety and product consistency.

4. Responsible to oversee the daily operations, production planning, purchasing and logistics functions. Prepare monthly reports for production output and sales.

5. Implement improvement plan and assure proper manufacturing techniques to achieve manufacturing excellence.

6. Create an environment that is culturally embedded in a “Quality First \" mentality.

7. Work with all levels of the organization to improve quality levels, providing customer with “Zero Defect Product \" and \" 100% On-Time Delivery \".

8. Maintain high standard of manufacturing discipline in the operation.

9. Established and maintained high standards of housekeeping on a daily basis.

10. Renew all relevant company policies and procedures (as initiated and revised).

11. Ensure that the Operations signs up for the most aggressive schedules possible and reacts quickly to schedule.

• Ensuring that the Quality System ISO 9001: 2015 is maintained and carried out.


• To act as Project Team Member.

Requirement

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree or Academic Degree in any Chemistry / Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical) or equivalent experience.


• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Manufacturing processes.


• Preferably Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.


• Preferably with exposure or knowledge in the automated manufacturing environment associated with mixing and moulding of materials.


• High level of integrity, drive and result oriented. Ability to work under extreme pressure and deadlines.


• System and process oriented with hands‑on experience implementing ISO & 5S


• Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.


• Positive Attitude, Good Supervisory Skills, Good Time Management and Planning, Good Interpersonal and Communication Skill.
