Eggtech Manufacturing – Kuala Selangor, Selangor

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager with 3–5 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing or food processing environment to lead our plant maintenance and engineering operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on knowledge of food processing machinery, production equipment, plant utilities, preventive and corrective maintenance, and a good understanding of food safety requirements and applicable food manufacturing regulations. Experience with pasteurization systems and processes will be an added advantage.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, efficiency and continuous improvement of our production facilities, while leading a technical team and supporting the plant's operational and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve and streamline factory operations, equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Plan, coordinate and execute scheduled preventive maintenance for production machinery, equipment, utilities and facilities.
• Lead, supervise and develop a team of Technical Officers, Engineers and Technicians.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production operations.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, servicing and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
• Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to improve automation, energy efficiency, production efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Drive initiatives to reduce product spoilage, rejects, downtime and maintenance costs.
• Understand and implement CLIT and 5S practices within the maintenance and production areas.
• Work closely and communicate effectively with equipment suppliers, contractors and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and technical support.
• Support outsourced contractors and technical service providers in identifying opportunities to improve production processes and equipment performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with workplace safety, HACCP, Food Safety and HALAL requirements.
• Support and participate in internal and external audits, including HACCP, FSSC, JKKP/DOSH, HALAL, BOMBA and other relevant quality, safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable food manufacturing, machinery safety and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for maintenance activities, inspections, repairs and compliance purposes.
• Promote a clean, safe and orderly working environment within the maintenance and production areas.
• Lead continuous improvement projects involving machinery, processes, utilities and maintenance procedures.
• Be available for shift and on-call duties when required, particularly during peak production periods.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance/engineering, preferably within a food manufacturing or food processing plant.
• Strong knowledge of food processing machinery and production equipment.
• Experience in pasteurization systems/processes is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of plant utilities, preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
• Familiarity with HACCP, FSSC, HALAL and food safety requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant statutory and safety requirements such as JKKP/DOSH and BOMBA.
• Experience leading and managing a technical/maintenance team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, contractors, production and other departments.
• Proactive, hands‑on and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work shift and on-call duties when required.
