Job summary

Mas Awana Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Operation Manager to lead the Alor Setar cafe and kitchen operations. This full-time role focuses on efficiency, service quality, and team leadership to deliver exceptional care to patients.

You will manage daily operations, implement procedures, control costs, and ensure safety standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Operational management experience in cafe/kitchen settings.
• Knowledge of HACCP and hygiene regulations (KKM).
• Strong cost control and budgeting capabilities.
• Proven leadership and staff management experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Solid inventory, supply chain, and supplier coordination.
• Clear communication with staff and stakeholders.
• Flexible, adaptable to fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of MHUB cafe and kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with standards.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain optimum levels.
• Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen and service staff; plan staff schedules and rotations.
• Manage budget, control food and labor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure accurate sales reporting and contribute to profitability targets.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle feedback promptly.
• Coordinate with the Head, Healthcare & Cafe Business for updates, menu changes, and promotions.
• Enforce safety, HACCP compliance, and hygiene protocols; conduct kitchen audits.
