Job summary

PUBLIC CRANE HEAVY EQUIPMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Operations Executive to coordinate crane, heavy haulage, rigging and transport activities in Telok Gong, Port Klang. You will manage schedules, manpower planning, fleet deployment and job records in the ERP system to ensure smooth execution.

The role requires strong organisation, multitasking, and teamwork with good communication. Mandarin proficiency is required for coordinating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, construction or related fields.
• Basic understanding of transport coordination or heavy equipment operations is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin as required to coordinate with mandarin speaking stakeholders, clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily crane, heavy haulage, rigging and transportation activities to ensure smooth operational execution.
• Prepare, update and maintain daily job schedules, Job Orders and operational records in the ERP system.
• Assist in planning manpower, equipment deployment and fleet scheduling to optimise operational efficiency.
• Monitor cargo movements and project status, port operations and related logistics activities.
• Liaise closely with crane operators, drivers, site personnel, clients and internal departments to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare and coordinate PTW applications and obtain necessary approvals prior to work commencement.
• Verify and maintain operational documents including packing lists, delivery orders, job sheets, gate passes and supporting records.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for Management review.
• Provide operational support and backup to the Operations Department during peak periods or project mobilisation.

Documentation & Administration

Prepare and coordinate Permit to Work (PTW) applications and obtain the necessary approvals prior to work commencement.

Verify and maintain operational documents including packing lists, delivery orders, job sheets, gate passes and supporting records.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for Management review.

3. Inventory & Operational Support

Support inventory administration for operational needs, including stock issuance and replenishment when required.

Provide operational support and backup to the Operations Department during peak periods or project mobilisation.

What We’re Looking For

At least 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, construction or related fields.
