Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd is seeking a senior OPSS leader in Malaysia to oversee data governance, performance analytics and supplier management across the Area. You will ensure master data integrity, drive cost visibility and provide data-driven insights for strategic decisions.

You will engage with Operations, Cost Control, Procurement and regional teams to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance while maintaining strict governance and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret operational, financial, vendor and cost data.
• Experience in reporting, dashboards, data analysis and management reporting.
• Solid understanding of liner shipping operations, cost drivers and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the OPSS team with clear priorities and strong support to Operations.
• Manage workload planning, task allocation, and coverage for service continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement in OPSS processes, data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation.
• Coordinate with Operations, Cost Control, Procurement, Finance, Regional teams and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate operational master data (routes, locations, tariffs, rate agreements, vendor data, cost structures).
• Maintain operational reports, dashboards, statistics, and management information for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with reporting timelines, governance standards and internal requirements.
• Provide operational analysis, insights, and recommendations to support management decisions and business cases.
