Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd AG in Kuala Lumpur seeks an OPSS leader to strengthen data governance, performance analytics, supplier management oversight, and cross-functional coordination. You will drive master data maintenance, management reporting, cost control performance, and data-driven insights to improve cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational decision-making.

In a hybrid role with strong collaboration across Operations, Cost Control, Procurement, Finance, and regional teams, you will lead

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational, financial, vendor, and cost data.
• Experience in reporting, dashboards, data analysis, and working with large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the OPSS team with clear priorities and effective execution.
• Manage workload planning, allocation, and coverage for service continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement in OPSS processes, data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation.
• Coordinate with Operations, Cost Control, Procurement, Finance, and regional teams.
• Maintain operational master data (routes, locations, tariffs, rate agreements, vendor info, cost structures).
• Maintain reports, dashboards, statistics, and data for management review.
• Ensure compliance with timelines, data governance standards, and internal requirements.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support management decisions and business cases.
• Support Cost Control through cost visibility and performance tracking.
• Support supplier management including vendor performance and contract matters.
• Maintain contracts, rate agreements, rebate files, and procurement repositories.
