Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd Business Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a skilled Compensation & Benefits specialist to support payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR systems maintenance. You will manage employee data, assist with mobility processes, and contribute to analytics and reporting for a regional team.

The role covers cross-border transfers, insurance management, and collaboration with HR partners. A degree in HR/BA and at least 3 years in C&B is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Payroll Administration, or related HR support.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance management, HR systems maintenance, and employee data management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and HRIS/payroll systems.
• Experience in employee mobility management, including cross-border transfers and work pass administration, would be beneficial.
• Good knowledge of employment legislation and compensation & benefits practices can be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Administration: Assist in monthly payroll and statutory payments and related reports.
• Assist in year-end tax related reports.
• Liaise with BIPO on payroll/tax matters.
• Company Benefits Administration: Support administration of employee medical insurance, new hire registration, and claims follow-up.
• HR Administrative Duties: Maintain employee records and update HR systems with changes, promotions and transfers.
• Provide administrative support to HR team, organize meetings, prepare reports, and manage HR communications.
• Assist with other HR projects and initiatives.
• Mobility management: support employee mobility, pass applications, cancellations, renewals.
• Arrange temporary accommodation and flight ticket purchases.
• HR Analytics: analyze data to identify patterns and insights to support decisions.
• Others: carry out duties as assigned by superior.
