Job summary

dormakaba is seeking a procurement professional in Malaysia to manage PR-to-PO processing, supplier coordination, and procurement administration to support smooth plant operations.

Responsibilities include processing PRs and POs in SAP, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contracts and policies, maintaining supplier records, and assisting with invoicing, pricing issues, and basic sourcing.

Qualifications

• Experience in PR-to-PO cycle and procurement documentation.
• Familiarity with supplier management and invoice resolution.
• Knowledge of SAP procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Process approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and create Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP
• Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders on orders, deliveries, and purchasing requirements
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contracts, and procedures
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier data
• Support the resolution of order, delivery, invoice, and pricing-related issues
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and relevant authorities on customs clearance and import/export documentation
• Follow up on supplier invoices and work with Finance to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related matters
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations for routine purchases
• Assist with low-value sourcing activities and basic supplier negotiations
• Support day-to-day procurement activities to ensure smooth plant operations
