Job summary

OSADI Commercial Supplies Sdn Bhd, based in Penang, is seeking a procurement professional to drive supplier onboarding via SAP Ariba. You will validate supplier data, gather required documents, and secure approvals across regions.

You will coordinate with suppliers, CSMs, and procurement stakeholders to enable electronic transactions and maintain accurate vendor master data, ensuring compliance with governance and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Supplier Onboarding, Supplier Enablement, Vendor Management, Procurement Operations, or a related support function.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience managing supplier and stakeholder relationships within a global or multinational environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across regions, cultures, and functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver tasks within established SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Review and process supplier onboarding via SAP Ariba SL&P, validating information, documents, and compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding with suppliers, CSMs, Procurement stakeholders, and support teams.
• Enable approved suppliers to transact electronically through SAP Business Network / Ariba Network (POs, confirmations, invoices).
• Process vendor creation and maintenance requests including master data changes.
• Ensure vendor and supplier master data is accurate, complete, and compliant with policies.
• Investigate and resolve onboarding, registration, and maintenance issues; escalate when needed.
• Manage supplier communications and status updates to meet SLAs.
• Maintain reports, dashboards, and trackers on onboarding, enablement, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across APAC, NA, and other regions for consistent execution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

Job description

Review and process supplier onboarding requests through SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance Management (SLP), including validation of supplier information, supporting documents, certifications, compliance requirements, and business approvals.

Coordinate with suppliers, Category Supplier Managers (CSMs), Procurement stakeholders, and relevant support teams to facilitate supplier registration, qualification, onboarding, and approval activities.

Support Supplier Enablement activities by enabling approved suppliers to transact electronically through SAP Business Network / Ariba Network, including Purchase Orders, Order Confirmations, and Invoices.

Process vendor creation and maintenance requests, including new vendor setup, vendor extensions, banking information updates, address changes, email updates, and other vendor master data changes.

Ensure vendor and supplier master data is accurate, complete, and compliant with established policies and governance requirements.

Investigate and resolve supplier onboarding, registration, enablement, and vendor maintenance issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when required.

Manage supplier communications, follow-ups, and status updates throughout the onboarding and enablement lifecycle to ensure requests are completed within agreed service levels.

Maintain operational reports, dashboards, performance metrics, and trackers related to supplier onboarding, enablement, and vendor management activities.

Collaborate with global stakeholders across APAC, North America, and other regions to ensure consistent and effective execution of supplier onboarding and enablement processes.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process automation, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance operational efficiency, data quality, and stakeholder experience.

Ensure all supplier lifecycle activities comply with procurement policies, audit requirements, governance controls, and supplier management standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or a related discipline.

1–3 years of relevant experience in Supplier Onboarding, Supplier Enablement, Vendor Management, Procurement Operations, or a related support function.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Experience managing supplier and stakeholder relationships within a global or multinational environment.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different regions, cultures, and functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver tasks within established service-level commitments (SLAs).

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance Management (SLP) processes.

Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network / Ariba Network, SAP ERP, or vendor master data management systems.

Understanding of supplier registration, qualification, compliance validation, onboarding, and enablement processes.

Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying process efficiencies, automation opportunities, or digital solutions.

Experience with reporting and data analysis tools, including the preparation of operational reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance trackers.
