Job summary

Lurima Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated travel coordinator to oversee daily tour operations, coordinate with hotels, airlines, and guides, and ensure seamless travel experiences for clients. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with sales and marketing to promote travel packages, maintain CRM data, and assist in itinerary planning and supplier liaison.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in tour operations, travel agency, or tourism industry is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and a strong interest in tourism are encouraged to apply.
  • Good knowledge of domestic and international tour operations, itineraries, hotels, transportation and travel arrangements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and relevant travel/booking systems.
  • Able to coordinate with customers, suppliers, hotels, transport providers, tour guides and overseas partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and last-minute changes effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily tour operations, ensuring seamless execution from booking to post-trip follow-up.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, including hotels, airlines, and local guides, to confirm bookings and ensure service quality.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their travel needs and offering personalized recommendations.
  • Manage and update customer information in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and efficient record-keeping.
  • Assist in the planning and organization of travel itineraries, ensuring all logistical details are covered.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare operational reports and analyze data to track key performance indicators and inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining high standards of service and safety.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote travel packages and support promotional activities.
