MAFAR Academy is seeking a Programme Operations & Event Executive to support planning, coordination and execution of training programmes, workshops, webinars and events. The role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
You will coordinate day-to-day operations, manage timelines and liaise with trainers, participants, venues and vendors to ensure smooth programme delivery.

We are looking for a Programme Operations & Event Executive to support the planning, coordination and execution of our training programmes, workshops, webinars and events.
The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of training programmes, workshops, webinars and events.
Monitor programme readiness and ensure activities are carried out according to timelines, internal procedures and SOPs.
Identify operational issues, coordinate follow-up actions and recommend practical solutions.
Support the implementation of new programmes, operational initiatives and process improvements.
Plan, coordinate and monitor assigned programmes and projects from preparation through completion.
Prepare programme timelines, operational checklists and key milestones.
Follow up on outstanding tasks, deliverables and deadlines.
Coordinate with trainers, speakers, participants, venues, vendors and relevant external stakeholders.
Support programme logistics, materials, registration and other event requirements.
Maintain accurate programme records, operational documentation and project files.
Prepare operational reports, meeting notes, programme updates, presentations and related correspondence.
Develop, review and update programme checklists, SOPs and operational guidelines.
Ensure all programme documentation is properly organised and maintained.
Coordinate with Digital Marketing, Creative, Finance, HR and other relevant teams to ensure programme requirements are completed on time.
Coordinate meetings and follow up on agreed action items and deadlines.
Provide regular programme and operational updates to Management.
Highlight delays, risks or matters requiring management attention.
Recommend improvements to programme operations, participant experience and internal workflows.
Support the adoption of digital tools and more efficient operational processes.
Participate in post-programme reviews and apply lessons learned to future programmes.
Perform other relevant duties related to programme and academy operations as assigned by Management.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, Education, Training Management, Project Management, Communications or a related field.
Preferably 1–3 years of relevant working experience in programme coordination, event operations, training operations, project coordination or a related role.
Experience in training programmes, workshops, conferences, seminars or event operations will be an advantage.
Strong organisational, planning and time-management skills with good attention to detail.
Proactive, dependable and able to follow through on assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and changing programme requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, online forms, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Experience in healthcare, training, education, CME/CPD or HRD Corp-related environments will be an added advantage.
Willing to work outside normal office hours occasionally when programmes, webinars or events require it.
Must have own transport and be willing to travel for programme activities, venue visits, meetings and events when required.
