Job summary

Sky Global Time Critical Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Operations Coordinator to manage daily international airfreight and time-critical logistics activities. You will handle shipment inquiries, coordinate with airlines and overseas agents, and ensure timely execution of urgent shipments including NFO and OBC, while maintaining documentation and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• Experience in airfreight or freight forwarding operations is preferred.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily operational activities for international airfreight and time-critical logistics shipments.
• Manage shipment inquiries and RFQs, including sourcing rates, checking flight availability, and coordinating with airlines and overseas agents.
• Coordinate and execute urgent shipments, including Next Flight Out (NFO), On Board Courier (OBC), and other time-critical logistics solutions.
• Arrange shipment bookings, cargo collection, customs clearance coordination, and final delivery.
• Monitor shipment movements closely and provide timely updates to customers and relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with airlines, overseas agents, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate shipping documentation and operational records.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and unexpected disruptions promptly.
• Monitor shipment costs and ensure accurate job costing and proper billing coordination.
• Ensure proper shift handovers and maintain effective communication within the Operations team.
