Job summary

KEMENA HOLDING SDN BHD in Bintulu, Sarawak is seeking an Operation Executive to oversee day-to-day operational activities within our construction division and to drive efficiency across projects and facilities.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–5 years of operational experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and knowledge of project management workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management workflows.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities and ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and manage project timelines, resources and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Monitor and optimise operational processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, documentation and performance metrics.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Support the management team in achieving operational targets and business objectives.
• Ensure quality control measures are in place and maintained across all operational areas.
• Assist in training and supervising operational staff to maintain high performance standards.

About the role

We are seeking an Operation Executive to join KEMENA HOLDING SDN BHD in Bintulu, Sarawak. This is a full-time position offering a strategic opportunity to oversee and optimise operational processes within our construction division. As an Operation Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, coordinating between various departments, and driving operational efficiency across our projects and facilities. This position is integral to maintaining our high standards of service delivery and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safety regulations
• Coordinate and manage project timelines, resources and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery
• Monitor and optimise operational processes to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors and external stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain operational reports, documentation and performance metrics

What we're looking for

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with project management or operational management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining strong team collaboration
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required
