Job summary

Teck Guan Group is seeking Operations Assistant based in Tawau, Sabah. The role involves hands-on farm duties, bird nest processing, packing, quality checks, and coordinating processing workers. You will work within a diverse agricultural group with opportunities across related operations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of working experience preferred.
• Experience in agriculture, bird farming, bird nest processing or related industries is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to perform hands-on and outdoor work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a farm environment.
• Good working attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to perform a variety of operational tasks and work as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Minimum height of 165 cm.

Responsibilities

• Handle documentation and processing-related paperwork.
• Assist with sale and packing of bird nests.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Supervise and coordinate processing workers.
• Conduct weighing and recording of bird nests.
• Assist with bird house maintenance and cleaning.
• Conduct regular census and inspection.
• Assist with harvesting activities.
• Coordinate outsourced work when required.
• Carry out grass cutting and general farm maintenance.
• Assist with pest control activities.
• Perform fish catching and other related farm duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
