Artscape Cafe in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia, is seeking a full-time, on-site kitchen role. You will assist with food preparation, cooking, and day-to-day kitchen operations to meet daily orders.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, ensuring safety and cleanliness, managing stock, and supporting other kitchen sections. The position offers meal provided and a steady monthly salary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to daily production requirements; wash, cut, portion, marinate and prepare raw materials according to recipe and kitchen standards.
• Assist Chef in preparing and cooking hot food according to standard recipes; frying, boiling, steaming, grilling and reheating as required; ensure on-time delivery per orders.
• Check freshness and condition of ingredients; follow hygiene and food-safety procedures; maintain correct storage temperatures; prevent cross-contamination.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and equipment; sanitize surfaces; return utensils to storage; follow opening/closing cleaning procedures.
• Assist in receiving and checking kitchen ingredients; label, date and store properly; inform Chef when stock is running low; minimize wastage.
• Follow daily preparation and production lists; support other kitchen sections; maintain teamwork and communication; follow SOPs and Chef instructions.
• Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month; Benefits: Meal provided; Work Location: In person
