Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Food Technologist to develop solutions across beverage, bakery, dairy, and savory applications. You will prepare prototypes, support customers, and work with Sales and Applications teams to deliver value with Ingredion’s ingredients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Food Science/Engineering and 5 years in the industry, along with strong English communication, sensory skills, and proficiency with SAP/Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Food Science/ Food Engineering and 5 years in the food industry.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to present to large audiences.
• Good sensory skills and strong computer literacy (PPT, Excel, SAP, Salesforce).
• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Support Texture and Healthful Solutions strategy through customer projects.
• Prepare prototypes for customer meetings and provide bench-top analyses.
• Collaborate with Sales and Applications teams to meet customer needs.
• Conduct pilot and production-scale trials at customer facilities.
• Provide technical support and perform sensory evaluations.
• Develop high-quality prototypes for events and presentations.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
