Job summary

Stemgenic Pte Ltd is seeking experienced Application professionals to strengthen its Southeast Asia team. The role focuses on food formulation, ingredient functionality, and customer trials, delivering technical solutions across bakery, dairy, beverage, and plant-based segments.

You will partner with sales, R&D, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing to support trials, troubleshoot, and scale up innovations aligned with clean label and health-focused trends.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in food application, product development, technical service, or formulation.
• Exposure to bakery, dairy, beverage, confectionery, savoury, plant-based, nutrition, or functional ingredients.
• Strong customer-facing technical communication skills.
• Suitable for Application Managers, Senior Food Technologists, Technical Service Managers, or R&D Application Leads.

Responsibilities

• Lead application development projects for food, beverage, nutrition, or functional ingredient solutions.
• Work closely with customers to understand formulation challenges and develop suitable ingredient applications.
• Support product trials, prototype development, troubleshooting, and scale-up activities.
• Partner with sales, R&D, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Provide technical training and application support to customers and internal teams.
• Monitor market trends around clean label, sugar reduction, plant-based, fortification, and health-focused innovation.
