Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive or Technical Specialist with a Food Science/Technology degree and 1–3 years of experience to manage food ingredient accounts and consult with manufacturers. You will build relationships with food & beverage producers, understand their needs, and propose practical ingredient solutions.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role offers regular client visits, collaboration with internal teams on technical proposals, and opportunities to expand our portfolio

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of technical sales or distribution experience in the food industry.
• Solid understanding of food manufacturing processes and ingredient applications.
• Excellent communication skills with willingness to travel to client plants and attend corporate dinners.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing client accounts while searching for new food and beverage factory clients.
• Monitor customer credit limits, track order schedules, and ensure timely payment collections.
• Offer technical ingredient suggestions and cost simulations to client R&D and production teams.
• Coordinate international shipping terms and stock levels for smooth factory deliveries.
• Connect with clients and suppliers over corporate lunches and business dinners.
