Optimum is seeking an Area Manager in Malaysia to serve as the face of the company for unmanaged merchant partners. You will lead the Area Manager initiative with direct visits, build trust, and educate merchants on using our tools to grow their business.

You will monitor performance, collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing and Product, and advocate for partners in strategic decisions, while driving operational excellence across your area.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of experience in a sales or account management role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must; Mandarin or Tamil is an added advantage!

Mansioni

• Lead the Area Manager initiative with direct, face-to-face engagement with unmanaged merchant partners.
• Own the Area Manager playbook: set visit schedules, define discussion points, ensure interaction quality.
• Deploy resources to maximize reach and support for merchants, build trust and act as the primary contact.
• Rapidly identify and resolve operational issues, escalating complex ones when needed.
• Educate partners on Client's tools (Merchant App, marketing features, dashboards) to grow their business.
• Gather merchant feedback and relay to product/ops/support for improvements.
• Monitor KPIs like engagement, satisfaction, issue resolution, retention, and tool adoption.
• Be the local market expert on merchant landscape and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product for a seamless merchant experience.
• Advocate for partners' perspectives in strategic decisions and roadmaps.
• Drive process improvements and share best practices with other Area Managers.
