Job summary

LSTEP Consult Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Project Permitting Coordinator to be stationed at a client's project site in Johor.

The role focuses on coordinating statutory approvals, permits and client-specific permits, working closely with authorities, consultants and the client's project team to ensure timely, compliant permit delivery. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in project permitting, strong liaison and documentation skills, and a background in engineering or related discipline;

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of directly relevant experience in project permitting or authority submissions.
• Hands-on experience tracking permit applications and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Town Planning, Project Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on statutory permits, licences and approvals.
• Monitor submission progress and deadlines; manage permit registers.
• Liaise with authorities, client teams, consultants and contractors.
• Maintain organised records of correspondence, applications, permits and approvals.
• Attend project coordination meetings and provide progress reports.
