Job summary

CY Group in Malaysia invites applications for a Procurement & Supply Chain role located in Rawang, Selangor. You will source recyclable plastic materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage supplier relationships while monitoring prices and quality.

The role also covers site and delivery management, inventory control, and collaboration with warehouse, logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth operations. On-site work is required, including visits to storage yards and centers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, SCM, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years procurement experience in manufacturing or recycling preferred.
• Willing and able to visit storage yards, centers and sites with dusty/humid conditions.
• Energetic, proactive, hands-on and able to work on-site when required.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Own transportation and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase recyclable plastic materials from suppliers and centers.
• Negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining supplier relationships.
• Monitor market prices and assess quality of purchased materials.
• Assist Admin Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Visit storage facilities, sorting centers and collection sites; supervise handling and storage of recyclables.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare procurement reports on costs, savings and purchasing volumes.
