Job summary

Kardex Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Software Consultant to join the New Business Team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role supports software deployment from sales through realization, collaborating with solution design and project management.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of on-site software implementation experience, strong SQL/ERP knowledge, and fluent English. Travel within the country is required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Education in Computer Science/IT required.
• Minimum 5 years' on-site software implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of logistics/WMS and ERP systems is essential.
• Experience with intralogistics processes preferred.
• Excellent written technical documentation skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Participate in stakeholder discussions to capture business and software requirements.
• Translate customer processes into software configuration specifications.
• Define software configurations based on project needs.
• Develop and document Software Functional Description.
• Lead software setup and rules configuration per project.
• Document requirements, process flows, design, testing per standards.
• Track issues and provide regular project status updates.
• Diagnose and fix bugs during and after implementation at site.
• Support testing and commissioning on customer sites.
• Ensure successful deployment meeting user and quality expectations.
