Job summary

Kardex Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated Software Consultant to join the New Business Team in Kuala Lumpur. The role ensures Kardex software scope matches customer requirements and supports on-site deployments, working with solution design and project management to drive implementations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of on-site software project experience, strong documentation skills, SQL and network knowledge, and fluent English. Travel within Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT.
• 5+ years of on-site software project implementation experience.
• Knowledge of logistics processes (automation, WMS) and software in warehouse/logistics environments (WMS, ERP).
• Exposure to intralogistics processes.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and software deployment.
• Understanding of networks and troubleshooting.
• SAP/ERP knowledge is beneficial.
• Fluent English in speech and writing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand business, software and system requirements.
• Study customer processes and translate them to software configurations.
• Define software configuration based on project requirements.
• Lead and implement software setup, configuration and rules.
• Document software requirements, design, implementation and testing to standards.
• Diagnose and fix issues during and after implementation.
• Participate in testing and commissioning at customer sites.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with project team to resolve software-related issues.
