Fintexs Technologies Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment) to install, maintain and service advanced semiconductor and electronics equipment at customer sites.

You will diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance and train customers on operation and care. This role welcomes early-career engineers with a hands-on mindset and requires on-site travel, Mandarin language proficiency preferred, and a strong

Qualifications

• A Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or another relevant Engineering discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in equipment servicing, field service or maintenance.
• Early-career candidates with relevant qualifications may apply.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and electronic equipment.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred for effective communication.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations for field-based support.
• Malaysian citizenship or valid work rights.

Responsabilités

• Provide responsive technical support and troubleshooting at customer locations.
• Install, repair, service and preventive maintenance on semiconductor and electronics equipment.
• Investigate electrical, electronic and mechanical issues using a structured, analytical approach.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve complex technical matters.
• Guide customers on equipment operation, care and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare clear service reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach while working independently and as part of the service team.
