Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to own day-to-day operations on a construction data centre site in Malaysia. You will be the on-site lead, coordinating with clients, engineering teams, and vendors to sustain uptime, manage risk, and drive improvements.

You will oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance, while maintaining documentation and asset records. Strong communication and vendor management are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience on large construction sites with data centres.
• Proven contractor/vendor management in live environments.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of SLAs, KPIs and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facilities operations in a construction data centre project environment.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
• Act as the primary client interface, providing updates, reporting, and escalation.
• Manage suppliers, contractors, and specialist vendors ensuring compliance and safety.
• Maintain documentation, compliance records, and asset registers.
• Ensure all activities meet health & safety, compliance, and service standards.
