Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1) to be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring IT infrastructure stays operational.

You will monitor systems, investigate incidents, and provide telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support. You will also perform routine maintenance and contribute to disaster recovery testing, while building a positive client experience through effective handovers.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in troubleshooting and supporting IT/ICT environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and SOPs.
• Strong ticketing discipline with prompt incident handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure remains operational.
• Monitor client infrastructure, identify and resolve incidents with first-line support.
• Provide telephonic, ITSM ticket or chat support.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as patching and configuration changes.
• Work across multiple technology domains (Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, or Collaboration).
• Contribute to disaster recovery tests and data protection.
• Ensure a positive client experience with efficient handovers.
