Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1) in Malaysia. You will be the first point of contact for clients, monitor infrastructure, and resolve incidents with a focus on high-quality, timely support across Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, or Collaboration.

You will follow ITIL-driven processes, use ITSM tools, and contribute to disaster recovery tests, patching, and knowledge-article updates while delivering a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Entry-level troubleshooting and support experience in security, network, data centre, systems or storage.
• Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
• Highly disciplined in handling tickets day-to-day.
• Able to follow Sop’s and use knowledge articles.
• Proficient in using ITSM tools.
• Client-centric mindset and good cross-cultural communication.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or Computing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client infrastructure and solutions, identifying problems and errors.
• Provide first-line IT support via phone, ticket, or chat for low-complexity incidents.
• Escalate when needed and maintain service continuity with effective handovers.
• Perform patching and configuration changes to ensure smooth operation.
• Contribute to disaster recovery tests and knowledge article updates.
• Support project work and seek opportunities for work optimization.
• Deliver a positive client experience with clear, timely updates.
