Job summary

HOMA ENGINEERING (M) SDN BHD is offering an internship for an enthusiastic Intern Site Supervisor to join our construction team in Penang Island. This full-time role welcomes graduates or school leavers to gain hands-on experience supervising construction activities under guidance from senior staff.

You will learn to oversee daily activities, ensure safety compliance, coordinate materials and labor, and assist in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily construction activities and ensure work progresses according to schedules and project plans.
• Monitor site conditions, safety compliance and adherence to company policies.
• Support coordination of materials, equipment and labor resources on site.
• Conduct routine site inspections and document findings in daily reports.
• Assist in induction and training of new site workers on safety procedures and project requirements.
• Liaise with team members, contractors and other departments to ensure effective communication on site.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Assist with quality control checks and ensure work meets required specifications.
• Help maintain site records, including time sheets, progress documentation and safety logs.
• Support senior supervisors in problem-solving and decision-making on site matters.
