Job summary

SUBSEA WORLDWIDE SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking a procurement professional to source offshore and marine equipment, obtain quotations, and manage supplier relations. You will coordinate with project teams on technical specs, track delivery timelines, and ensure compliant procurement processes.

The role involves contract administration, stock coordination, and preparing procurement documentation, with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, procurement, engineering, business or related field.
• 2–5 years procurement experience, preferably Oil & Gas or related field.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, Incoterms, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Good communication and coordination across teams in a dynamic project environment.
• Adaptability in fast-paced, project-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure offshore and marine equipment and project services in line with project specs and delivery schedules.
• Obtain competitive quotations, evaluate supplier capabilities, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Prepare and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related procurement documentation.
• Work with project teams to align on technical specs and material requirements for seamless execution.
• Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and procurement timelines to mitigate risks.
• Maintain and grow the approved vendor list by developing supplier relationships.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Support logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and customs documentation as needed.
• Assist in contract administration and resolve supplier claims, review DOs and invoices.
• Create and maintain project folders and ensure proper document management.
• Coordinate stock and delivery arrangements, including stock release and courier scheduling.
• Prepare procurement status reports for management and project teams.
