Talent Recruit represents a Singaporean client in the marine and offshore sustainability sector, seeking a Supply Chain Assistant (based in SG). The role covers sourcing, PO data entry, and supplier management to ensure timely delivery of materials.

The successful candidate will support cross-functional teams, maintain ISO-compliant records, and drive cost-saving opportunities within procurement. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• <0Diploma or higher in business/admin or supply chain
• 0At least 2 years of relevant procurement experience
• 0Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• 0Electrical knowledge and experience with freight forwarders is a plus
• 0Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• 0Willing to handle paperwork

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation enquiry, price negotiation, placement of orders and delivery arrangement).
• Data Entry of Purchase Orders (PO).
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing as per ISO guidelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices and terms of contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
• Sourcing suppliers and purchase electrical equipment, spare parts, and other electronic components.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without excessive stockpiling and conduct stock take.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvement in the procurement function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement activities and overall project goals.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
