Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating offset printing presses.
• Komori experience preferred.
• Ability to perform machine setup, colour adjustment, registration and basic troubleshooting independently.
• Good understanding of paper types, inks and common offset printing defects.
• Able to read and follow Job Sheets and production instructions.
• Careful attention to print quality with safety and machine care mindset.

• Complete Daily Production Reports with quantities, wastage and downtime.
• Keep machine and area clean, organized and safe.
• Work with production team to meet quality standards and schedules.

We are looking for an experienced Offset Printing Operator to operate and maintain our Komori offset printing press. You will handle machine setup, monitor print quality, and ensure production jobs meet specifications and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

Operate the Komori offset printing press according to Job Sheets (JS) and production requirements.

Carry out machine setup and make-ready, including plate mounting, paper feeding, registration, and ink adjustments.

Match printed colours against approved samples and maintain consistent quality throughout each print run.

Check print samples regularly for colour accuracy, registration, alignment, and printing defects.

Monitor production progress and minimise paper wastage, spoilage, and machine downtime.

Troubleshoot printing defects and machine issues, and report problems requiring further maintenance.

Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance according to machine procedures.

Complete Daily Production Reports accurately, including production quantities, wastage, and downtime.

Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean, organised, and safe.

Work closely with the production team to meet quality standards and production schedules.

About you

Previous hands-on experience operating offset printing presses; Komori experience is preferred.

Able to perform machine setup, colour adjustment, registration, and basic troubleshooting independently.

Good understanding of paper types, inks, and common offset printing defects.

Able to read and follow Job Sheets and production instructions.

Careful attention to print quality, with a responsible attitude towards machine care and safety.

Able to work overtime or shifts when required.
