IMAGINE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS is seeking a Production Printing Specialist to join our team in Malaysia. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of Konica Minolta production printers and finishing equipment at client sites.

You will calibrate color profiles, troubleshoot controllers and workflow software, diagnose issues to minimize downtime, train client operators, and manage spare parts with accurate service reporting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test Konica Minolta printers and finishing equipment at client sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs of mechanical/electrical components.
• Calibrate color management and ensure image quality to standards.
• Install and troubleshoot print controllers (Fiery, Creo, or Konica Minolta proprietary controllers) and workflow software.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and network issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide operator training for clients.
• Manage spare parts inventory and complete service reports.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Printing Specialist to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Konica Minolta high-volume production printing systems (e.g., AccurioPress / AccurioPrint series). You will ensure minimal downtime for our commercial print clients and deliver exceptional technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Installation & Setup: Execute the installation, configuration, and testing of Konica Minolta production printers and finishing equipment at client sites.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and emergency repairs on hardware and complex mechanical/electrical components.
• Color & Quality Management: Calibrate and profile production systems to ensure precise color management, image quality, and consistency according to industry standards.
• Software & Controller Support: Install and troubleshoot print controllers (e.g., Fiery, Creo, or Konica Minolta proprietary controllers) and print workflow software.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and network connectivity issues swiftly to minimize customer downtime.
• Client Training: Conduct operational training for clients' key operators on machine handling, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Inventory & Documentation: Manage spare parts inventory effectively and complete all service reports and technical documentation accurately.
